So, this past weekend, we went to Athens to spend time with Kiki and the boys. Prior to our arrival, Kiki was explaining to Garrett (my 6 year old nephew) that I was still pregnant but my belly would be bigger because the baby is getting bigger. Garrett replied, "Oh, that's because when she was here last time she had just eaten the baby." I guess he thought the baby got into my belly from me eating a baby....I laughed so hard! Kiki cleared up that I did not eat a baby, but that Momma Pam was a nurse and she could best explain how the baby got into my belly.
Another story...
Sunday, we all stopped to eat dinner at Longhorn after spending the day in Helen, GA with family. Kathryn needed to go to the bathroom. As she was sitting there, she asked if the baby was moving. I replied yes, that the baby has been a busy baby and moving a lot. Kathryn replied, "I think the baby is doing artwork." I love the working mind of a three year old!

Pregnancy Cravings
I haven't had any weird cravings this pregnancy, but here is a list of some of my favorite foods right now...
1. Baked Potatoes
2. Fresh Garden Salads
3. Fresh Fruit
4. Ice Cream (especially soft serve vanilla)
5. Plain Grilled Chicken
6. Orange Juice
When pregnant with Kathryn, I wanted cheeseburgers...all the time. This time around, it has been very different.

26 Weeks and Moving Right Along
I had an appointment yesterday, and everything looked and sounded great. Dr. Johnston swears that my weight gain is right where it should be (I think it is a little on the high side), and all of my stats (blood pressure, etc.) look great. I got to hear the sweet, strong heartbeat of our baby. I love hearing this sound. During the last couple of weeks, I have had some swelling in my feet and ankles (especially on the right side). As for the headaches, those are gone...thank goodness! Now I am just struggling with being comfortable as I continue to grow. And, it is just all a little different with trying to keep up with a 3 year old. None the less, it blows my mind to think baby Luther will be here in 14 short weeks (or less). This pregnancy has flown by!!!!!
