Daddy felt baby Luther kick

I have been feeling baby Luther for the last week or so, but Daddy felt baby kick for the first time last night.  Each night when I lay down, baby Luther begins having a dance party.  I can feel the baby for a good 15-20 minutes before I fall asleep.  I love that I can feel him/her kicking and moving.  This makes me think all is well, and our sweet baby is progressing as he/she should be. 

No real cravings

With Kathryn, I pretty much wanted salt and therefore I satisfied this craving by eating a double cheeseburger from McDonald's almost every single day.  This time around, I haven't had any strong cravings.  One thing I have really enjoyed is fresh fruit.  I love fruit anyways, but during this pregnancy, it has tasted even better.  With the warmer temps and spring upon us, I am looking forward to fruit being in season with prime taste.  And, I am really trying not to gain 40 pounds this pregnancy (like I did with Kathryn), so here's to fresh produce and not gaining a ton of weight!

Baby Luther is on the move

For the last week, I have felt flutters, and lots of them.  When pregnant with Kathryn, I didn't feel her move until well after 20 weeks.  This time around, I think I am more in tune with my body and know what to expect.  I love feeling the flutters!  Next week we have another appointment and ultrasound.  I can't wait to see how much our baby has grown!

Just a baby...

People ask Kathryn ALL THE TIME if she wants a brother or a sister.  Kyle and I have explained to her how she doesn't get to pick.  So Kathryn's response every time is "Just a baby."  I love that she hasn't said a specific gender.  However, yesterday she told me she thought the baby in my belly was a boy.  Time will tell...

Baby Luther's First Gift

Baby Luther received his/her first gift yesterday.  My friend Haven came to visit and brought lunch.  She also brought Baby Luther a giraffe toy and blanket.  The blanket is super soft and adorable, and I know Baby Luther will love the toy too.  Haven is one of the kindest people I know, and she was so sweet to think of us!
