Today was a busy day. Momma Pam had to go to work today. I am glad we didn't do a long good bye because I probably would have cried. Momma Pam has been beyond helpful the past 2 days. She has done all the night time feedings for two nights in a row, she has done our laundry, dishes, made bottles, fed Kaden, played with Kathryn, gone grocery shopping, cooked dinner, run errands for me, and has kept me company. She is honestly and truly the best mom in this world. I don't know what I would do without her. None the less, Kaden had his first well check up this morning. His appointment went well. He weighed 8.4 pounds (only losing .5 after birth which is good). His head circumference was 36 cm, and his height was 20 and a half inches. Everything looked great, but Dr. Aquino was little concerned about his skin tone (he looked a little jaundice), so after our appointment, we swung by Gateway to have some blood work done to make sure his levels were normal. Luckily, his levels fell within normal range. The rest of the day was spent at home relaxing.

Sweet Boy! |
That night, we decided to tackle Kaden's first bath. At first he cried, but after a few short seconds, he actually seemed to enjoy his first bath. And, there is nothing sweeter than a clean smelling baby!
