Our second night in the hospital was a little better. I think by this point we were so exhausted, we actually slept pretty good. Once again, Kaden spent the night in the nursery so we could try to get some much needed rest. On Wednesday morning, I was discharged. However, Dr. Aquino (our pediatrician) didn't make rounds until after lunch, so Kaden wasn't discharged until around 2:30 PM. None the less, we were so excited to be heading home. Today was also Kathryn's 4th birthday, so getting home to spend some time with her was at the top of our priority list. Once home, we spent about an hour getting things unpacked and then we headed to Mimi and Papa's for a birthday dinner for Kathryn. Afterwards, we all headed back home. Momma Pam stayed the night with us and did all the night time feedings which was much appreciated. Momma Pam is the best!
